• Rider Acquisition - You will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding riders for a platform-based service company. Your primary focus will be to identify, engage, and convert potential riders, ensuring the growth and expansion of the platform's rider network. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with riders, fostering a positive rider experience, and supporting the overall success of the platform
• Rider Recruitment: Actively identify and recruit potential riders through various channels, including job portals, social media platforms, community networks, and local partnerships.
• Onboarding Process: Facilitate the smooth onboarding of new riders by coordinating the necessary paperwork, training sessions, and equipment distribution. Ensure that riders are equipped with the knowledge and resources to perform their roles effectively.
• Relationship Building: Establish, monitor and maintain strong relationships with riders, acting as a primary point of contact for their queries, concerns, and feedback. Regularly engage with riders to understand their needs and address any operational challenges they may encounter.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of riders, including metrics such as delivery times, customer ratings, and order completion rates. Identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback and guidance to riders to enhance their performance.
• Rider Retention: Implement strategies and initiatives to increase rider satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Collaborate with the broader operations team to address any issues or obstacles that may impact rider engagement and retention.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and local market dynamics related to rider acquisition and engagement. Use this knowledge to develop innovative strategies and tactics for attracting and retaining high-quality riders.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on key performance indicators, rider acquisition metrics, and market insights. Analyse data to identify patterns, trends, and areas of improvement, and present findings to the management team
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure that riders adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Conduct periodic audits and spot checks to verify compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Education: A minimum of an OND or equivalent is required, Experience in marketing, field operations, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in the delivery and logistics industry or platform-based service industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of individuals
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse and interpret metrics
• Familiarity with local markets, communities, and cultural nuances
• Proficiency in using technology tools and applications for rider acquisition and management
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required
